Hi there! I am William Tham and am glad you’ve found us. LOCCW is a community who desires to grow in Christlikeness and be relevant to the communities around us so that we actively experience God’s power in our spiritual journey.
My philosophy in ministry is always to pastorally care for the flock of Jesus Christ and lead them to grow in the Kingdom of God with their god-given gifts and graces. My desire is for every member, from the little ones to the seniors, to grow into the persons Jesus wants them to be, so that they may be relevant as they serve their generation. Be sure that God who began the good work in us will bring it to completion in Christ Jesus. This is the journey you will embark on with us towards developing a Christlike community in LOCCW.
In my personal journey, I started out just like any ordinary person–went through the education system, aspired to have a well-paid job to buy a big house and to enjoy a well-to-do lifestyle. I was on the way, saving up towards my goals and ambitions, when life’s circumstances took a turn and I lost everything. In brokenness, I came to experience the Lord’s leading, which restored me to the person He made me to be. Hearing the call of God, I went to Tung Ling Bible College in 1998 and thereafter to Trinity Theological College in 2000 to prepare for the work that God would have me do. Upon completing theological training, I started serving in Church of the Good Shepherd and was posted to Light of Christ Church Woodlands in 2014.
I invite you to check us out and experience for yourself the reality of the love of Jesus and the transformative power of His love in your life. I would love to connect with you to share more about our church. Do get in touch!
